This Privacy Policy describes how Road LLC (“Road LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the public marketing website operated under the iv.org domain (the “Site”) and related online services that Road LLC controls and that link to this Policy.

This Policy is a notice about privacy practices. Reading it is not the same as accepting the Site’s Terms of Service, entering a consulting engagement, or providing marketing, SMS, cookie, course, or other consents that may be required separately when those features are offered.

The Site contact form may be used for ordinary inquiries. It is not the preferred method for subpoenas, service of process, DMCA notices, or other time-sensitive legal correspondence. Copyright notices and related DMCA communications should use the designated-agent contact published on the DMCA / Copyright Contact page.

MARKUS WESAW^SM is a service mark registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and with the Wyoming Secretary of State. Road LLC is an authorized licensee of this mark.

For personal information collected through the Site, Road LLC generally acts as the business or controller responsible for deciding how that information is processed. When Road LLC provides professional services to a client organization, Road LLC may instead process certain information as a service provider or processor on the client’s instructions under a separate written agreement. This Policy does not change those separate agreements.

This Policy covers:

The public Site at iv.org (including www.iv.org where used)
Contact and inquiry intake offered through the Site
Technical information generated when you visit the Site

Other Road LLC services may have additional notices or terms, including:

Employer-sponsored learning platforms or portals operated under the iv.org domain (a separate privacy or acceptable-use supplement may apply)
Payment services offered under the iv.org domain when payment features are active
Consulting, training, or other professional engagements governed by separate written contracts

If another notice applies to a specific service and conflicts with this Policy for that service, the more specific notice controls for that service.

When you use the Site’s contact or inquiry features, you may provide:

We do not request file uploads through the general Site contact form. Please do not submit medical records, investigation files, privileged materials, or other highly sensitive evidence through the marketing contact form.

You may also provide personal information when you communicate with us by telephone or postal mail using the contact details published on the Site.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting, networking, and security providers may automatically receive technical information such as:

The Site may store a theme preference in your browser’s local storage to remember light or dark display settings. That preference is stored on your device and is not used for advertising.

Information we do not currently collect through the Site

As of the revision date of this Policy, the Site does not currently:

Require account registration or user profiles
Operate a shopping cart or course-registration checkout on iv.org
Deploy third-party advertising pixels, analytics SDKs, or nonessential tracking cookies
Offer a public AI chat or similar AI intake feature on the Site

Information from other sources or services

If you use a third-party site or platform that links to Road LLC, that third party may collect information under its own privacy notice. Choices you make on a third-party platform do not control information collected directly by Road LLC through the Site.

When you engage Road LLC for professional services under a separate agreement, we may receive additional employment, training, billing, or project-related information from you or your organization as needed to perform that engagement. Those practices are governed by the engagement terms and any applicable supplemental notice.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

Respond to inquiries and provide requested information
Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site
Communicate about services you or your organization request
Perform contracted professional services when applicable
Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and security
Process payments when you use an iv.org payment service (see Payment processing below)

We do not currently use personal information submitted through the Site to train third-party artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

The Site does not currently set nonessential advertising or analytics cookies. Browser local storage may be used for the Site theme preference described above. You can clear local storage through your browser settings.

If we later deploy nonessential cookies or analytics, we will update this Policy and implement any consent or notice steps required for those technologies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because the Site does not currently operate advertising or analytics tracking technologies, Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals do not change Site behavior today.

Because Road LLC does not currently sell personal information and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, receiving a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal does not change current Site behavior. If that sale or sharing practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required opt-out method, which may include responding to GPC where required by applicable law.

Payment processing

When you make a payment through an iv.org service, payment information is transmitted to and processed by a third-party payment processor. The payment processor’s collection, use, and protection of that information are governed by its own privacy notice and terms.

Disclosures and service providers

Service providers that process information on Road LLC’s behalf to support website operations, communications, transactions, and requested services may receive limited personal information as needed to perform their work. Examples of categories include hosting and content delivery, communications and email delivery, security and logging, and payment processing when payment features are used.

We may also disclose information:

To employees or contractors who need it to perform their work for Road LLC
To your organization or its representatives when you contact us on behalf of that organization
To professional advisors (such as lawyers, accountants, or insurers) under confidentiality obligations
To courts, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities when required or permitted by law
In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections

Road LLC does not currently sell personal information. Road LLC does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you submit a copyright notice or counter-notice, the submission may include identifying and contact information. That information may be provided to the claimant, the alleged infringer, counsel, courts, or authorities as necessary to administer the process or comply with law. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you or your organization, and legal or operational requirements. We do not publish fixed deletion timelines for website inquiries, mailbox messages, or server logs in this Policy.

Retention for professional-service engagements, learning platforms, payment records, or copyright-complaint records may differ and is determined by applicable contracts, law, and operational needs. We do not publish fixed deletion guarantees for every category of record in this Policy.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and how it is processed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We do not claim that information is always encrypted in every system, continuously monitored, or free from unauthorized access.

International access and transfers

Road LLC is based in the United States. If you access the Site or communicate with us from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where we or our service providers operate. Protections available in those locations may differ from those in your country.

Where required by applicable law and by our contracts, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms for international transfers of personal data. International business with Road LLC is often unsolicited and business-to-business; this Policy does not assert that Road LLC is subject to every privacy law worldwide solely because the Site is publicly reachable.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Site under our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site, and we do not knowingly market the Site to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Depending on how you interact with us, you may:

Contact us to update or correct information you provided
Ask us to limit marketing emails if we send them (we honor unsubscribe requests for commercial email)

Privacy rights requests

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights are not identical in every jurisdiction, and exceptions may apply.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law; we may require proof of authorization and may still need to verify the consumer’s identity.

United States state privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws, which can include rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a refusal. California residents also receive the online-privacy disclosures below.

Sale and sharing. Road LLC does not currently sell personal information and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required opt-out method.

Sensitive personal information. The Site’s general contact form is not designed to collect sensitive personal information. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the marketing form unless we expressly request it for a lawful purpose.

Appeals. If we decline to act on a privacy request and applicable state law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by contacting us and stating that you are appealing. If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact your state attorney general or other authority identified by applicable law.

We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising privacy rights conferred by applicable law.

Applicability depends on statutory thresholds and facts; this Policy does not claim that every CCPA/CPRA obligation applies in every circumstance.

EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss data-protection law applies to our processing of your personal data, Road LLC processes that data only where a lawful basis applies. Depending on the activity, that may include:

Performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract
Compliance with a legal obligation
Legitimate interests such as operating and securing the Site, responding to inquiries, and defending legal claims, balanced against your rights
Consent, where we ask for it (for example, optional marketing)
Vital interests, in rare emergency situations where applicable

Where those laws apply, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence or work (for example, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office). You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing.

Road LLC has not appointed an EU or UK Article 27 representative solely by publishing this Policy. Any representative determination remains an internal matter unless and until we publish a deliberate public appointment.

Other jurisdictions

Individuals in other jurisdictions may have rights under local privacy laws. We will consider requests in light of applicable law when you contact us.

Automated decision-making

The Site does not currently make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing of personal information.

Third-party links and embedded resources

The Site may link to third-party websites or load third-party resources (for example, credential or accreditation seals). We do not control those third parties’ privacy practices. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own notices.

Email communications (CAN-SPAM)

If we send commercial email, we identify the message appropriately, include our physical business address, and honor opt-out requests. You may unsubscribe using instructions in the message or by contacting us.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, law, or services. Material changes will be posted on this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. The revision date below shows when this Policy was last updated for publication on the Site.

An effective date, if different from the revision date, will be stated when intentionally set.
